More about the studio →Jacqueline Interiors is an independent curtain, blind and soft furnishings studio on Brockenhurst Road in Ascot. It is a proper retail showroom rather than a catalogue: you can take a fabric to the window, see it against the light, feel the weight of an interlined velvet next to a loose-woven linen, and put a trimming alongside both before you commit to anything.
We describe our sample library as one of the largest of its kind in the South of England, and we use it hard. Designer fabrics, wallpapers, trimmings and textiles are pulled off the shelf and laid out on the table until a scheme actually works — not chosen from a thumbnail on a screen.
Everything after that stage is ours too. We measure in your home, because a bay that looks square almost never is; we make to those measurements; and we fit and dress the finished curtains ourselves. More than thirty years of doing it that way is why so many of the people who write about us are on their second or third set.

A real sample library
Shelves of fabric, wallpaper and textile books — one of the largest collections of its kind in the South of England. You choose from cloth on a table under changing light, not from a thumbnail on a screen.
Measured at your window
We come to the house and measure it ourselves. Pole height and width first, floor level checked, bay angles taken, radiators and sills allowed for. It is the step that decides whether the finished curtains hang properly.
Fitted without any mess

How it works
From sample book to dressed window.

Come to the showroom
Bring a photo of the room, rough window sizes and any colours you're already committed to — a carpet, a sofa, a paint shade. We pull sample books, lay fabrics out together and talk through headings, linings and whether the window wants curtains, a blind, or both. No appointment fee and nothing to sign.

We measure at your house
We measure the windows ourselves, with the pole or track position, the floor level, the radiators and the way the room is actually used all taken into account. This is the step that decides whether the finished curtains hang properly, and it is not one to do over the phone.

Made, fitted and dressed
Your fabric is cut and made up to those measurements, the track or pole goes up, and we hang, dress and tie the curtains into their folds on site. Reviews of ours say the fitting was done without any mess — that is deliberate, and it is the part most people remember.

Ascot, and the houses around it.
The showroom is on Brockenhurst Road in Ascot, which puts us within easy reach of Sunningdale, Sunninghill, Virginia Water, Windsor, Bracknell, Windlesham and Bagshot. Most of our measuring and fitting happens across Berkshire and Surrey, and we are happy to look at something a little further out — just ask when you ring.
